Interviewing a Marley will forever be a huge accomplishment of mine. Thanks to another amazing publicist (Gabrielle Batson) she informed me that Ky-Mani would be in town promoting his new LP titled Maestro. Although I was still waiting on approval from various publications, I decided to go along and do the interview anyway. I made sure his publicist was well aware that this piece may never see the light of day, however, she had complete faith that it would. I met up with Ky-Mani at a local Starbucks and he delivered an amazing interview, filled with inspirations and knowledge. Thankfully the interview was later published via VIBE magazine.
